How much does it cost?
This service is a one-off charge of $99 and is not added to your rates.
You will receive a brand new bin for your food and garden waste, a kitchen caddy, a 150-bag roll of compostable liners, and some information to help you get started.
You can purchase the bin with a valid Visa or Mastercard.
How long will it take?
You will receive a lime green-lidded food and green waste bin within 10 working days.
Who can order one?
All residents of Bayside using council waste services can order a food and green waste bin, including ratepayers or renters.
Which bin size would you prefer?
Two bin sizes are available for food and green waste:
- 240 litre - standard size for current food and green waste bins and the same size of the standard blue-lidded recycling bins
- 120 litre - slightly smaller than standard size for general waste bins
