    Free

    Book into these twenty minute one-on-one sessions with a staff member to help you with your device. Please remember to bring your own device. These sessions will be run at Beaumaris Library, Sandringham Library, Hampton Library and Brighton Library. Please click the link to find out more about dates and times. Bookings are essential.

  • Windows Art Exhibition

    The ‘Windows’ art exhibition is opening on Friday 14 June at 26 Advantage Road, Highett, a showcase of the work of local artists Marian Hookham, Paul Anderson and Megan Hall. From joyous birdlife, to interpretive nudes, landscape, reimagined still-life and figurative portraits, this joint exhibition explores expression and creativity as a window into the journey of making art. Please join us for wine and cheese at either the Opening night or our Music Soiree on Saturday 22 June 2-4 pm.

    Have a chat and reconnect! Chatty Cafe is a global movement to help bring people together, reduce social isolation and build social connections within the local community. Chatty Cafe events are being held in a variety of locations across Bayside. Venues provide a chat table where community members, with the support of volunteers, can come together and have a chat! So, if you are someone who wants to connect more with your local community, meet new people, or just enjoy the company of others why not try a Chatty Cafe?

    Did you know Black Rock House is the reason the suburb was named Black Rock? Come and step back in time to see the summer house of Victoria' first Auditor general and learn other wonderful lessons from this precious house.
