We are so excited to welcome Michael Robotham to Brighton! Joining Michael in conversation will be Bayside's own Vikki Petraitis, author of "The Unbelieved", which won the inaugural Allen & Unwin Crime Fiction Award, and 18 true crime books including the best-selling 'The Frankston Murders',Michael is a former investigative journalist whose bestselling psychological thrillers have been translated into twenty-five languages. He has twice won a Ned Kelly Award for Australia’s best crime novel, as well as a long list of other awards.
CPR and Defibrillation basics information session

Join Healthy Ageing in partnership with Bolton Clarke in a one hour information session that will give participants the confidence to attempt CPR and use a defibrillator.Fully booked This session has reached capacity. Reclaim the Void - NAIDOC Week workshop

Bayley Arts is presenting two weaving workshops for the Reclaim the Void project as part of this year's NAIDOC Week celebrations. The workshops coincide with the exhibition Concentric Unity: Jintaka- juku showing at Bayley Arts Gallery 6th to 19th July. Reclaim the Void is a bold, cross-cultural project about the 'gaping mining holes left all over country'. It will result in a huge dot-artwork made up of thousands of handmade circular rag-rugs woven from discarded fabric.

From the largest shark that ever existed to the 'Demon-ducks of Doom', these fossils are being discovered by palaeontologist Ben Francischelli and a team of citizen scientists.This July school holidays, join us for a special, exclusive session at Bayside Gallery. Ben will be revealing the 'deadliest ocean that ever existed' and bringing along a number of fossils that are changing the way in which we understand prehistoric Bayside.
