  • Neighbourhood Watch Sandringham Newsletter Delivery

    We need volunteers in Sandringham and Highett as we are expanding the streets into which we deliver our Newsletter and Crime prevention messages. Zones are small and it takes only about one hour to deliver the quarterly newsletter. If you enjoy walking and being part of a valuable community activity, please join us!

    Graffiti Busters are volunteer groups who aim to rid our suburbs of ugly graffiti. It's a community activity that doesn't take huge amounts of time. Our volunteers enjoy themselves, meet new friends and see results! We are starting a new group covering Brighton to Highett. We need someone to lead the group.

  • Pastoral Care Volunteers, Residential Care Home Caulfield

    HammondCare Pastoral Care Volunteers have an opportunity to support the spiritual and emotional needs of the elderly people living in an aged care home. As a pastoral care volunteer you’ll be a Christian actively involved with a local Christian church in the area. You’ll supplement and complement the work of our Pastoral Care Coordinators, and under their direction you may: - Support people to meet their spiritual needs - Support people and families in time of crisis - Nurture spiritual development

  • Volunteer mini-bus driver, Residential Care Home Caulfield

    HammondCare Caulfield is looking for a Mini-bus Volunteer Driver for our aged care Residents to enjoy an outing in the local area. You will be accompanied by care staff who will look after the resident’s care needs.   • Friends of Bay Road Heathland Sanctuary

    If you would like some good, healthy, outdoor activity, please join the Friends of Bay Road Heathland Sanctuary in restoring and maintaining the biodiversity of Sandringham’s important natural heathland.We meet on the second Saturday of every month from 10:00am to 12:00pm to weed, plant and learn more about our flora, fauna and fungi.New volunteers are always welcome. Volunteers receive support and training from Bayside Council’s Open Space service provider. All tools are provided.

  • Volunteer Bus Driver

    Each year the Rotary Club of Brighton support locally based young people (15-17 year olds) to go to a number of iconic youth camps for RYPEN (Rotary Youth Program Enrichment). This is a weekend residential camp designed to encompass lecture-style sessions and adventure-based learning, to support the participants reach their potential.Based in Axedale, camp participants typically come from across Victoria.We have two upcoming camps in December 2023 and March 2024.
