Giving the grass a drink at Wishart Reserve dog park

We’re upgrading the Wishart Reserve dog park with a new automated irrigation system to help us maintain lush, green grass, reduce dust, and help the new plants thrive.

The installation will take place in two phases:

Work outside the dog off leash section of the park will take place from 14 – 15 August, with no impact on park access.
Work inside the dog off leash section of the park from 21 – 23 August, which will require a temporary three-day closure.

Dates are weather-dependent, and the short-term closure is essential for completing the installation safely and efficiently.

We are undertaking this project in response to community feedback, aiming to improve park maintenance and enhance the overall experience for all users.
