Bayside Gallery closure

Bayside Gallery will be closed from 28 October 2024 to 9 May 2025 due to building works. The Brighton Town Hall remains open as this part of the building will not be directly affected by the works.

The building works will commence in early October 2024 with the Brighton Historical Society’s space unavailable from December 2024 until mid-February 2025 and the Brighton Art Society relocated to Hurlingham Park at 2A Francis Street, Brighton East until March 2025. A range of alternative programming will be delivered during this time including a month-long outdoor pavilion in the Brighton cultural precinct with Slow Art Collective in March/April 2025 and various events throughout the municipality.

Bayside Gallery will reopen in May 2025 with the Bayside Painting Prize.
