Free hearing check and physical skills screening for preschool aged children, aged 3.5 to 6 years.

Saturday 14 September 2024 at Hampton Primary School 

This event is a joint initiative between Bayside City Council, Hampton Rotary and the University of Melbourne.

Departments of Audiology and Speech Pathology, and Physiotherapy, from Melbourne University will conduct the screening tests and provide results and advice.  

If your child is aged 3.5 to 6 years and enrolled at a kindergarten or childcare centre in Bayside, you can book a free hearing check including a physical skills assessment to support their preparation for transitioning to primary school.

It is important to identify hearing issues early on, as left unidentified, this may have impacts on both short and long-term speech and language development.
