Youth Mental Health First Aid

Benefits of this course

This course will help you:

  • Improve your knowledge of mental illness, treatments and first aid strategies
  • Assist a young person who might be developing a mental health problem
  • Assist a young person experiencing a mental health crisis

Who is eligible for this course?

To attend this course, you need to be over 18 and live, work or volunteer with young people in Bayside.

How much is the course?

Registration costs $20. This price covers your training manual. 

Council will provide lunch and refreshments on both days of the training.

When is it?

The course will run over two Mondays. You must attend both days to complete the course and receive your certificate.

Friday 23 August, 9:00am – 4.30pm and Friday 30 August, 9:00am – 4.30pm

Registrations close Monday 19 August. Limited spots. Bookings essential.
