About Smiling Heart Studio
Smiling heart studio offers after school children’s art classes with a difference. Our small classes offer a fun and friendly space that encourages a love of art whilst promoting curiosity, connection, and wellbeing.
We explore creative skills and nourish our imaginations by working in a range of materials from clay, papier-mâché, paint, mosaic, textiles, and recycled materials.
Threaded through our classes are practices that boost positive mental health such as gratitude, mindfulness, positive emotions, a growth mindset, and a sense of pride in our accomplishments.
Our aim is to support children to live creative, happy, and balanced lives connected to themselves, each other, and our world.
As part of Advantage Road open studio’s, we invite visitors to contribute to a community mindful drawing project. Join us at any time throughout the day. No need to be a great artist, just bring your creative spirit and a sense of fun. All ages welcome.
