Winter School Holiday Activities

Activities are open to young people aged 12-17 years old. Participants must live, go to school, work or study in Bayside. Bookings are now closed. Thank you and we will see you again in our next school holidays.

Our friends at Bayside Libraries are hosting a range of activities for young children visit Bayside Libraries' events page.


Movies and Arcade

Tuesday 2 July

Challenge yourself and friends in a variety of video games before you sit back in the afternoon and watch a latest release movie.

Time: 11am – 3.15pm
What to bring: Packed lunch or money to purchase lunch and movie snacks, water bottle.
Drop off/Pick up: Village Cinemas Southland 
Cost: $40

Italian Pizza and Calzone Cooking Class  

Thursday 4 July

Come along to our local Youth Centre and learn how to make traditional Italian pizzas and calzones. Make your own, eat your own, and take home the leftovers.

Time: 10am – 1pm
What to bring: Apron/clothes that can get dirty, container for take home food, water bottle, your appetite.
Drop off/Pick up: Peterson Youth Centre, Highett.
Cost: $20

Wheelchair friendly venue and activity.

Bowling and Laser Tag

Tuesday 9 July

Jump on the train with us and head out for a day at Strike Melbourne Central. Show off your bowling skills and immerse yourself in a double laser tag session. Be quick, this one is sure to sell out fast!

Time: 9am – 3pm
What to bring: Topped up Myki, water bottle, BYO lunch, or money to purchase lunch, and comfortable walking shoes.
Drop off/Pick up: Sandringham Station
Cost: $40
