School Holiday Activities

Our Bayside Youth Service's school holiday activities run every school holiday period throughout the year. These activity days are open for any young person aged 12 – 17 years old, who have a connection to Bayside (live, work, study and play).

Each school holiday period, Bayside Youth Services offers a mix of activity days for free or at low-cost. These include: 

  • Hang-out days and lost-cost activities at Peterson Youth Centre, Highett
  • Life skills workshops like cooking classes
  • Exciting excursion-based activities like Ten Pin Bowling or Rock Climbing.

Upcoming school holiday activities - summer

The summer school holiday activity days will run between Monday 13 January and Friday 24 January 2025. 

Final activity information and registration to be updated soon.

Week 1 activity days:

Monday 13 January - Friday 17 January

Monday 10 January - Friday 24 January

FriYays pop up @ Sandy Library

Join us and our friends from Sandringham Library for a fun FriYay pop up. Everyone is welcome.

When: Friday 17 January, 3pm – 5pm 

Where: Meeting room at Sandringham Library, 8 Waltham St, Sandringham 

Who: Ages 12 to 17

Cost: Free

We will have:

  • VR headsets
  • Nintendo Switch on the big screen
  • Games
  • Snacks.

No need to book, just drop in and have fun!

FriYays will then return to Peterson Youth Centre, 3pm – 5.30pm every Friday during Term 1, 2025. Check out our FriYays page for more information.
