#BaysideGirlsCan - This Girl Can – Victoria: A VicHealth Campaign
The Fair Access Policy aims to address gender disparities in physical activity. Challenges persist with 1 in 10 Victorian women inactive weekly.
This Girl Can Victoria, a VicHealth initiative, empowers women and girls to engage in physical activity at their own pace. Join us to activate an opportunity for This Girl Can Week from 10 to 17 November, 2024.
Who
Calling all sports and active recreation clubs, fitness and leisure centers, personal trainers, instructors, and studios! Join us in showcasing a variety of free or affordable activities, workshops, educational sessions, or events for women and girls eager to dive into new experiences.
Focus
Reach out to beginners or individuals returning to sport and recreation. Share your offerings with us as we compile an extensive list for community-wide promotion.
Resources
Access valuable resources aimed at encouraging more women to adopt an active lifestyle today. Explore a wealth of VicHealth resources crafted to empower and motivate more women and girls to participate in your sport and activity or check out our Fair Access webpage for extra assistance in promoting inclusivity and diversity.

Furthermore, sport and recreation clubs seeking volunteer assistance for the This Girl Can initiative should reach out to Better Health Network at healthpromotion@bhn.org.au or submit an expression of interest form for the Healthy Sports Clubs program.
