Story box is a website that has a selection of videos for children. This includes children’s books that are read aloud by storytellers, and activities that are attached to stories that can be done at home, with minimal preparation.

Birdie stories are a collection of stories that help children and families in the midst of natural disaster recovery. Birdie and the big sickness could be an appropriate book to explain the current circumstances.

Are a collection of age appropriate resources for all ages, including encyclopaedia articles, dictionaries, atlases and more.  Level 1 resources are appropriate for primary age children.

Rainforest coding

An interactive adventure that introduces the programming language ‘scratch’ to children from the age of 5. This is a free resource, you will require an internet browser on a computer to access this.

BusyCode

BusyCode introduces children between 6-11 to coding and teaches the fundamentals of how to create, run and debug simple programs. This resource can only be accessed via an internet browser on a computer.

Animalia

Animalia is an interactive computer based literacy resource. This will require either a tablet or computer that can download the program. Activities in this app are divided into school grades, with foundation for prep and one/two, three/four and five/six.

Victorian Premiers’ reading challenge

The Victorian Premiers’ reading challenge encourages children and students to read a set number of books over the year and record their efforts online.

Mango Languages

Mango Languages is an online language-learning system that can help you learn languages online. Languages include Spanish, French, Japanese and more.
