Southern Metro Region Alliance
A forum for organisations to connect, collaborate, and advocate
The Southern Metro Region Alliance (SMR) is a group of community care organizations. It provides a forum for these organizations to share information, work together to solve problems and advocate on policy issues. The Alliance is also represented by a leadership group that meets bi-monthly.
The purpose of the SMR Alliance is to identify and prioritize strategic issues and emerging themes, facilitate effective information and resource sharing, advocate on policy issues, reduce duplication, build links and partnerships.
