How does GreenMoney work?

Download the GreenMoney app or head to the GreenMoney website and activate your FREE online account, using your Bayside postcode, to get started.

Do I need to be a Bayside resident?
Yes, the GreenMoney program is exclusively available for Bayside residents. To activate your free GreenMoney account, you will need your Bayside address and postcode.
Can I use GreenMoney on my phone?
Yes, you can create and access your GreenMoney account by downloading the app from the App Store or Google Play, or on your laptop or desktop computer.
Supported browsers:
Internet Explorer 9 and above, along with the most recent and stable versions of Firefox, Safari and Google Chrome.
The app for iOS requires iOS 7.1 and above.
The app for Android requires Android 5.0 Lollipop and above.
How do I earn reward points?
As a member, you earn rewards for taking green challenges. The more sustainable actions you take at home and around your community, the more exclusive discounts and rewards you earn. Best of all – you save money the next time you shop!
Challenges include:
- Compost your food waste
- Buy coffee in a reusable cup
- Cycle, walk, or catch public transport
- Pledge to reduce your plastic use
- Take a quiz to learn more about e-waste
What kinds of rewards are available?
GreenMoney has recruited national and local business reward partners including fitness, lifestyle, food and experiences.
Participating reward partners include HOYTS, Melbourne Aquarium, local cafes and online eco-stores.
Additional venues will continue to be added and we'd love to hear your suggestions of businesses that you frequently visit and would like to see as a reward partner.
