National Reconciliation Week 2024

National Reconciliation Week – May 27 to June 3 – is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.

The official 2024 Reconciliation Week theme is Now More Than Ever. The theme is a reminder to all of us that no matter what, the fight for justice and the rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people will —and must —continue.

Flag Raising Ceremony

This year we will hold our annual Flag Raising Ceremony on Saturday 25 May at 9:30am to mark Reconciliation Week and announce the winners of the Ellen Jose Student Reconciliation Awards, now in its sixth year.

An exhibition of the 20 Finalist pieces will be held from 27 May to 29 July 2024 at the Bayside City Council Corporate Centre, 76 Royal Ave, Sandringham VIC 3191.
