The festivities continue
Thanks for coming out to play, Bayside.
Last week’s events were a great success and our lovely old Black Rock clock tower is ablaze with Christmas lights.
Our suburbs are buzzing and we are loving your feedback on our social media pages – “Great night, well done”, “Had a great time” and “Fantastic” are just a few of them.

Landcox Park
Why not fill a hamper and picnic in Landcox Park, Brighton on Thursday 9 December as giant elves on stilts and other entertainers add that Christmas sparkle.
Concourse Green
Enjoy a summer evening of live music from a family-friendly cover band on Concourse Green at Beaumaris on Friday 10 December from 6pm to 9pm.
Highett Rd
You’ve probably already spotted the beautiful Christmas trees in Highett and on Saturday 11 December we are adding to the festive mood with roving performers, The Jolly Santa and the incredibly funny Mr Dash the Christmas elf. They are all set to liven up Highett Rd and bring a fabulous family-flavoured Christmas feel to the weekend shopping and coffee. The talented Gitan Jazz Duo will play live until 12.30pm.
Beaumaris Concourse and Hampton St
On Saturday 11 December there’ll be more live jazz on the Beaumaris Concourse open space (11am to 2pm) and Hampton St, Hampton will come alive with buskers, a roving Santa, stilt walkers and other performers from 11am to 3.30pm.
Church St and Bay St
In Brighton on Saturday 11 December, you can enjoy live jazz on the open space at St Andrews Church on Church St from 11am to 2pm and at the same time buskers, carolers and musicians will add a festive buzz to Bay St between 11am and 1pm.
Martin St
Santa will be enjoying a stroll along Martin St, Brighton from 10am to 11am on Saturday December 11, so have some fun and play I Spy Santa for a chance to win a prize.
Various shopping villages
Throughout December play I Spy Santa for a chance to win a $100 gift card to spend in Bayside. Once you’ve spied him, snap a pic and share on social media tagging your local shopping village’s Facebook or Insta page, or share the photo of you and Santa taken by Santa's team.
Sandringham foreshore and Landcox Park
Look forward to our beautiful ‘Neon Wonderland’ - 30 beautiful Christmas lights installations plus roving entertainers and musicians on Friday 17 December from 5pm to 10pm at Black Rock and Saturday 18 December 5pm to 10pm at Sandringham foreshore, and 5pm to 10pm at Landcox Park, Brighton on Sunday 19 December.
And there is plenty more to enjoy.
