Elwood Main Drain Duplication Project update

Melbourne Water's Elwood Main Drain Duplication project aims to reduce flood risk in the Brighton and Elwood areas.

We are working with Melbourne Water and the City of Port Phillip to plan for the Elwood Main Drain Duplication project.

The upgrade is a key initiative of the 2019-2024 Elster Creek Catchment Flood Management Plan. It follows successful advocacy from Bayside and other partners to the Victorian Government for funding.

Melbourne Water is currently distributing a community update on the project to households and businesses close to the site of the main drain.

You can view the newsletter, find out more and subscribe for updates on the project via the Melbourne Water Elwood Main Drain Duplication yoursay page
