How much waste have you diverted from landfill? ♻️
It's been almost two years since we introduced weekly collections for food and green waste bins (green lid bins). We know this was a significant change, but thanks to the community’s efforts, the results have been outstanding.
Over the past two years, the waste diverted from landfill has increased from 59% to 71%—that's an additional 8,300 tonnes of organic material turned into high-quality compost for our farmers.
We're on track this year to record our lowest landfill volumes ever. Well done, Bayside 💚
