Brighton bus stop upgrades coming soon
We’re upgrading three Brighton bus stops at 15 Male Street, 52 Male Street, and 14 St Andrews early in the coming months.
Works at the bus stop at 52 Male Street will commence in early December 2024 and are expected to take up to two weeks, weather permitting.
Work at the bus stops at 15 Male Street and 14 St Andrews Street is scheduled to commence in January 2025 and will take up to two weeks, weather permitting. We have scheduled these works after the busy holiday trading period and during school holidays to minimise disruption to the community.
These upgrades will improve public transport accessibility and ensure safer pedestrian access in the area.
Watch out for temporary traffic changes and parking restrictions during the works. Traffic controllers will be on site to manage flow, and pedestrians will continue to have footpath access to businesses.
We’ve scheduled works to minimise disruption by completing this project during school holidays.
