All aboard at Myrtle Road playground
The train at Myrtle Road playground has been an imaginative play space for locals and Hampton Community Kindergarten families for many years. As part of Bayside’s Playground Improvement Plan, we’ve upgraded the old train.
Designed with neutral tones to integrate with the natural landscape of the park, the new train includes a front engine with two additional connected carriages, two slides, a balance beam, a climbing wall, multiple sensory play elements, some shade cover, and a new, separate rocker. The existing swings, picnic table and shade structure have been retained.
