Meet the artist: Asher Bilu

A rare opportunity to meet and chat with renowned artist Asher Bilu on the opening weekend of the special presentation of Infinicopia (2017-18).

Infinicopia is a spectacular 12 x 9 metre immersive installation in the Brighton Town Hall by Asher Bilu and is an adjunct to his solo exhibition Asher Bilu: Early works 1956-79. The work comprises hundreds of ‘modules’, each constructed from a varied number of hand-painted shapes. This vast floor-based installation forms an intricate and expansive sculpture composed of separate interlocking pieces, each with its own stunning complexity.
