Maternal and Child Health Clinical Placement 2025

Are you interested in undertaking your clinical placement at Bayside City Council within Maternal and Child Health?

Bayside City Council is now taking applications from prospective Child and Family Health University students to undertake their clinical placement in 2025. 

Our MCH team support aspiring Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Nurses with clinical placements to support fulltime and part time university enrolments. Bayside City Council offer a dedicated preceptor for each semester of placement, and rotation opportunities to consolidate the knowledge and skills required to practice s a MCH nurse upon graduation.

Key Selection Criteria 

  • Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife
  • Current working with children check
  • Understanding of responsibilities for own learning and completion of objectives of clinical placement
