As a volunteer at The Good Box, your help makes a true difference in the lives of those experiencing homelessness. The Good Box is dedicated to providing vital resources, with dignity, for people experiencing homelessness. We do this through 'Good Boxes' which are boxes full of essentials (shampoo, canned goods, clothes etc.) to provide care and support with dignity.

We have just moved into our new location: 2/491 North Rd, Ormond, and are in need of volunteers! We go through a screening process for our volunteers and those most suitable will be chosen.
For our term 2 volunteers intake (August-December), applications will close on the 1st of August. Our Meet and Greet/training is mandatory and will be held on the 13th of August.

**Time commitment:**
You must be available to assist with the below campaigns:
- **August:** YouLegend - boxes for father’s and men who are struggling to make ends meet.
- **November and December:** Christmas - These are our busiest times, and we rely heavily on our volunteer community during these periods.
- We host regular volunteering every second Thursday between 1-3pm - you must be able to attend 3 x fortnightly shifts between now and the end of the year.
You will be provided with a full calendar that outlines all of these dates.
- Additionally, you are willing to assist where possible with irregular opportunities that pop up from time to time, that are not in the planned calendar.

**The Job:**
- Packing Good Boxes
- Sorting/Organising donations in the space.
- Stock-take.
- General cleaning,
- ...And if you feel comfortable, being in our fun social media.
