Playable Plants

Have you ever made music with a marigold? Composed with a chrysanthemum? Or listened to some lavender?

The Plants are new experimental musical instruments that combine organic matter and digital sensors. Developed by Playable Streets, these plant-based instruments will be available on Saturday 9 November at Brighton Town Hall Gardens for the community to interact with, explore, and make new collaborative compositions in a free event.

Swelling with textural waves and rhythmic movement, The Plants will be unlike any musical instrument you have ever seen, heard, or played.
