Bayside Roving Repair Recycled Sewing Workshop - Fully booked

Bayside Roving Repair Logo - Banner

This event is fully booked.

The program aims to empower our community to repair and reuse household items.

Council is dedicated to reducing waste within our community by encouraging everyone to repair items instead of throwing them away.

Join us with Gail and her team at Hampton's Recycled Sewing Studio.

Sometimes we hold on to items of clothing or other fabric objects, because they mark a time in our lives. Sometimes we hold on to things because we’re sure they can be fixed - we just don’t know how or where. Sometimes we hold on to things because we’re hoping they will fit us again or come back into fashion!

Well, now is your chance to repairrepurpose or adjust those items, to give them a new life!

Gail and her team at the Recycled Sewing Studio will be on hand to help you and share with you some sewing skills.

Whether you’re totally new to sewing, in need of a refresh, or hoping to expand your existing skills, Gail and her team will be there to help.

Bring your washed garments and fabrics ready to be sewn. If you’re not sure what to do with an item you’ve held onto, then Gail and her team can share creative ideas to inspire you.

Please note bookings are split into two sessions 2pm to 3:30pm or 3:30pm to 5pm with an expert repairer from the Recycled Sewing Studio.
