Bayside Community Nursery Gala Day

Bayside Community Nursery Gala Day is on again. Our third Gala Day for the season is on Saturday 3 August from 9am to 1pm.

There is a great range of local indigenous plants available for sale, including our two feature plants; Sweet Wattle (Acacia suaveolens) and Poverty Raspwort (Gonocarpus tetragynus).

Nursery staff and volunteers will be on hand to provide garden tips and advice. You can also visit the Gardens for Wildlife hub between 10am-12pm to learn more about habitat gardening and what you can do to support our local wildlife. And all the while enjoying our free (and delicious) sausage sizzle!

Established in 1978, the Bayside Community Nursery is considered one of the first nurseries in the world devoted to the propagation of indigenous plants.
