If you would like detailed information about what you can do on your property you can request planning advice. There is a fee for this service.
I have my proposed plans and documents ready
If you have proposed plans ready, together with your certificate of title and photos of the site and surroundings book a meeting with a planner.
We will help make sure you have everything you need to lodge your planning permit application.

Viewing planning applications online
In light of changes to the Planning and Environment Act 1987, all unauthorised personal information contained in planning permit application documents and information will be redacted before being published online.
We are currently working through ensuring all current advertised planning applications are available in line with changes.
View planning applications online
If the planning application documents you require are not currently available online, you can view them at our office, 76 Royal Avenue Sandringham, from Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Alternatively, call our Planning Department on (03) 9599 4666 for assistance.
You can also make an objection to or support a planning permit online.
