Lyle Anderson Reserve improvements

Bayside City Council will replace the public toilets and undertake park improvements for Lyle Anderson Reserve in Highett.

As part of the approved planning permit for the development underway at 32 Graham Road in Highett, we have advocated for accessibility improvements for the community use of Lyle Anderson Reserve.

A new path will be created that will provide a link to the new toilets, playground, BBQ area and the Highett Common development on Graham Road (old CSIRO site).

Works involve:

  • Demolition of existing public toilets both of which are in poor condition and do not meet modern public toilet standards
  • Construction of a new accessible public toilet
  • Path construction

Timing

It is anticipated that construction will start in mid-September and be completed by the end of October 2024.
