Youth Mental Health First Aid workshop

Benefits of this course

This course will help you:

  • Improve your knowledge of mental illness, treatments and first aid strategies
  • Assist a young person who might be developing a mental health problem
  • Assist a young person experiencing a mental health crisis

Who is eligible for this course?

To attend this course, you need to be over 18 and live, work or volunteer with young people in Bayside.

Registrations close 4:00pm Monday 19 August. Limited spots available, so book in early.

How much is the course?

Registration costs $20. This price covers your training manual. 

Council will provide lunch and refreshments on both days of the training.

When is it?

The course will run over two Fridays. You must attend both days to complete the course and receive your certificate.

Friday 23 August, 9:00am – 4:30pm and Friday 30 August, 9:00am – 4:30pm
