Bayside Healthy Ageing Seniors Festival

A festival of celebration, connection and fun

Bayside City Council is proud to present the 2022 Bayside Healthy Ageing Seniors Festival which offers a diverse calendar of events throughout the month of October. It is an opportunity to safely connect with the community, meet new people, try something different and celebrate together.

This year’s theme Takin’ It Easy encourages seniors aged 55+ to get involved in the festival however they feel most comfortable. Council has worked with local community groups, centres and clubs to put together a calendar of 80+ FREE and low-cost activities and events. There is something for everyone, including live music performances, arts, history, tours, dance, information sessions, sport, recreation, wellbeing, plus so much more!

Local community groups are also hosting events. To see a listing of these events and to book, visit our community events listing and filter by the community-run category.

If you have been wanting to find out what’s on offer within your community or to explore something new in a COVIDSafe environment, now is the time! Click on the event listings below for further information including booking details. Read on to view the full downloadable program.

In order to access the free public transport, simply carry your Seniors myki and Victorian Seniors Card with you on public transport, and touch on and off as usual. You won’t be charged.
