Principals and teachers

We are committed to working with our local schools and community to enable them to integrate sustainability in their everyday lives and reduce our individual environmental impact.

Supporting Bayside schools

We provide a range of support tools to schools. In addition to this, we offer training and situational support, including meetings with Principal and teacher groups, and assistance in funding applications.

We are keen to hear from teachers about how else we can improve our programs and support you on your journey to sustainability. Please email Caitlin Phipps from Environmental Sustainability with any enquiries or feedback you have at cphipps@bayside.vic.gov.au

Teachers' Environment Network

Through a partnership with the Port Phillip EcoCentre, Bayside schools have unlimited and free access to attend the Teachers' Environment Network. This network connects teachers who share an interest in the natural environment, provides access to resources, and seeks to help teachers educate their students on the world around them. For more information about the network or to register to attend the next meeting contact the network coordinator via Port Phillip EcoCentre.
