Want to have a say on the rules and training provided to our Councillors?
Legislation has been passed to introduce a Model Councillor Code of Conduct for all 79 councils across the state, while also requiring professional development training for councillors and mayoral training for mayors and deputy mayors.
These will be in place following the elections in October.
Bayside residents are encouraged by the Victorian Parliament to have a say on the content for the new code of conduct and mandatory training.
