Have your say on the draft precinct vision for the Suburban Rail Loop Cheltenham
The Suburban Rail Loop (SRL) Authority has released draft visions for the SRL East station precincts including in Cheltenham at Sir Willam Fry Reserve and is seeking feedback from the community.
The Suburban Rail Loop is a city shaping initiative that will transform Melbourne’s public transport system, connecting suburbs and creating opportunities in great places.
Council is advocating for strong outcomes for the Bayside community from the SRL - particularly in Highett, Pennydale and Cheltenham.
We are seeking positive precinct outcomes, long-term benefits, and to minimise impacts from the construction of the new station. We are also seeking to improve sustainable, efficient, and connected public transport across and onward from Bayside.
We are currently reviewing the draft precinct vision for Cheltenham and will make a submission to provide feedback. We’d like to know what you think about the draft precinct vision to inform our response to the SRL.
