Chatty Table Volunteer

VOLUNTEER WITH US!

Chatty Café Australia is looking for Chatty Volunteers to help facilitate conversations at designated ‘Have a Chat’ tables and act as “ice-breakers” to introduce the Chatty concept across Australia.

Where would you be volunteering? Whilst a Chatty venue is most likely to be a café or restaurant local to you, it could also be a local club, pub, community centre, aged-care residential facility, hospital cafeteria, school, library, shopping centre or neighbourhood house.

How can you help? This role would be perfect for someone looking for a relaxed volunteering role. No specific skills or experience are required, just the ability to enjoy meeting new people and having a chat.

Induction, handbook and other materials available on sign-up.

Working with Children Check (WWCC) is required (free for volunteers).

When necessary, Chatty Café Australia also offers volunteering roles which include running weekly one hour Online Zoom meetings, for people who may be isolated. These roles would be great for anyone who prefers to volunteer from home.

Other volunteer support is also needed if interested such as administration, strategy, governance, marketing, donations etc.
