Prehistoric Bayside: Science Week Panel Discussion

Join our expert palaeontologist panel for a fascinating discussion on Australia’s world-renown and remarkable fossils. Ben Francischelli, palaeontologist and curator of Prehistoric Bayside, will introduce audiences to the incredible fossil discoveries in Bayside before we hear from some of Australia’s most interesting palaeontologists.

Jake Kotevski will discuss Australia’s carnivorous dinosaurs, Jac O’Connor will look at Victoria’s enigmatic marsupial megafauna and other fossil oddballs from across Victoria, Adele Pentland will present on gigantic flying reptiles known as pterosaurs, and Ruairidh Duncan will be looking at some of the most bizarre whales that have recently been found from the surf coast of Victoria.

This event is part of National Science Week, celebrating science and technology in Australia.
