Bayside Roving Repair Program - Sandy Eco Expo Event

Enjoy an afternoon of repairs at the upcoming Roving Repair event, brought to you by Bayside City Council as part of the larger Sandy Eco Expo, hosted by Village Zero, BCCAG and 3191BeachPatrol. Whether you're looking to fix a treasured item, swap garden goodies, or simply soak in eco-friendly knowledge, this event has something for everyone. Roving Repair Event specific information 

On the day we will have repairers of textiles, wood, crockery and other small items onsite to support you in developing skills and confidence to repair these items instead of throwing them away. Let us know what item you plan to bring when you book, so our repairers can be prepared!

- Receive a numbered ticket with an estimated wait time when you arrive.

- Check with our skilled repairers, check out other events from the Expo or enjoy a relaxing cuppa as you wait for your turn.

Additional Notes

- For larger items that can't be brought in, please bring photos for consultation.

- If your repair involves specific parts (like a broken wire or missing lead), try to bring the necessary components with you.

- Our range of repair services includes woodworking, electronics, textile mending (darning, sewing, crochet, knitting) and general maintenance skills.

We are committed to creating a supportive space where everyone is welcome. If our volunteer and repairers can’t fix your item, we will advise you on what to do. At these events we will support you to learn and share knowledge.
