    Attracting small birds to your garden - Gardens for Wildlife online workshop

    Gardens for Wildlife is a free program designed to inspire and encourage you to create habitat in your gardens and open spaces, nature strips, patios or balconies to support local native wildlife šŸ¦Seeing small birds visit our gardens is becoming less common but there are changes we can make that will encourage them back. The next workshop we are hosting in our Gardens for Wildlife program will discuss challenges faced by small birds in urban areas and different ways you can attract them to visit or nest.

    Intro to Fermentation

Not only does it allow you to catch and store nutrition while itā€™s in abundance for use in leaner times, but it can be achieved in a wide range of lo-tech ways with very little financial input, and fermented foods have been proven to increase gut and mental health.

    Understanding Children's Behaviour

    Melinda Vander Reest from the Early Life Foundation presents an invaluable session to help parents and care givers to understand the challenging behaviours of children aged 2-6 years of age. This presentation provides an overview of some of the reasons why children present with challenging behaviours and gives some practical strategies for parents to effectively support and guide childrenā€™s behaviour in appropriate ways.This session is FREE to attend, however registration is essential.

    Sandy Point half marathon is back and will take place at the beautiful bayside of Melbourne. Challenge yourself to a 21.1km, 10km or 5km race.
