Final Community Nursery Gala Day 2024

Come and celebrate the Community Nursery Gala Day on Saturday 12 October from 9am to 1pm.🌱

This will be your last chance for 2024 to discover what wonderful indigenous plants can help turn your garden into a climate tolerant and wildlife friendly space.

Buy stock, enjoy a sausage sizzle and learn more about natives with the help of our knowledgeable and passionate nursery volunteers.

As well as selling to local residents, the nursery also propagates plants for Council use in public spaces - part of our Urban Forest Strategy, Climate Emergency Action Plan and Biodiversity Action Plan. 

Gardens for Wildlife and Friends of Native Wildlife Inc volunteers will be available from 10am to 12pm to provide advice on how to establish or improve habitat in your gardens and nature strips to assist our vulnerable local wildlife. 

We can’t wait to see you on Saturday 12 October at Bayside Community Nursery (317- 319 Reserve Road, Cheltenham) from 9am to 1pm. 

A reminder that the Bayside Community Nursery will close its doors for public sales on Thursday 31 October to focus on seed collection, propagating and growing new plants.
