Bayside is 8 kilometres south of Melbourne's Central Business District. It covers 17 stunning kilometres of Port Phillip Bay's coastline and is home to over 107,000 residents.

At Bayside City Council, we have a team of over 650 employees, delivering more than 100 services for our community across a diverse range of areas including: Aged Care Services, Family Services, Parks and Leisure, Libraries, Arts and Culture, Economic Development, Planning and so much more.

Our Corporate Centre is situated in Sandringham, overlooking a beautiful nature reserve and only a 500 metre walk to the local beaches. We have onsite staff parking and multiple public transport options, including Sandringham Train Station (a 15-20 minute walk or 5 minutes on the bus), Highett Train Station (12-minute bike ride) plus multiple surrounding bus routes.

Personal information collected by PageUp will only be used for the purpose of recruitment and referee checks, and if you are successful in your application for employment, it will also be used in relation to your employment with Bayside City Council. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways other than what is disclosed in this statement.

Bayside City Council may collect a range of personal information from you when you use our Careers website. Personal information will be collected through various activities and interactions on the site.

Change or update personal details

We encourage you to keep your details current. You can update your details when you log on and edit your account details and settings through the ‘My Profile’ menu on the Careers home page, or you can update your details or delete your account by contacting us directly at talentteam@bayside.vic.gov.au

You may also request a copy of, changes to, or deletion of, the personal information we hold, and we will act on this request within a reasonable period of time unless we are legally permitted to refuse to do so, in which case we will provide you with details of our refusal in writing. Bayside City Council will endeavour to respond to your request or inquiry within 10 working days.

Notifications

If you wish to receive alerts on available job’s you will need to ‘sign up’ in order for this to happen. You can opt out of these alerts at any time through updating your selection on your ‘My Profile’ page.
