Shipston Reserve upgrade

Shipston Reserve sportsground

We’re making some upgrades at Shipston Reserve to improve accessibility and spectator amenity.

The Victorian Government has funded this project, with Bayside Council delivering the improvements.

Key features

A new accessible car parking space
Safety bollards to protect children and pedestrians from vehicles
Handrails to provide better support for spectators
Granitic sand in some gravel areas to increase non-slip surfaces
Shade sails for weather protection

Timing

Works will be delivered in stages between January – June 2024.

What to expect during works

These minor works are expected to cause minimal disruption to local residents and sports ground users.
