Residential Parking Permits

Council has a number of streets where a Resident Parking Scheme applies.

Residents whose address is included in the Resident Parking Scheme have the following options:

Option 1

• Three free resident parking permits:
  • Additional resident parking permits can be purchased for a fee of $150 per permit per annum
  • No visitor parking permits are available under Option 1

or

Option 2

• Two free resident parking permits, plus one visitor parking permit for an annual fee of $50.00:
  • Additional resident parking permits can be purchased for a fee of $150 per permit per annum
  • Only one visitor parking permit per household will be issued

If your residence is included in the scheme, a Resident Parking Permit Application Form  must be returned with a current Motor Registration Certificate for each vehicle showing the vehicle is registered/garaged at the address.

Note:

• Properties located in commercial and industrial areas are not eligible to participate in the scheme.
• Shop top dwellings are not eligible to participate in the scheme.
• Multi Unit Development Properties are not eligible to participate in the scheme.
