Michael (Mick) Ulbrick is a former Chief Executive Officer of Darebin City Council.  He has had a long career in local and state government.  Earlier, Mick held executive positions to CEO level following council amalgamations in the 1990s at Ballarat City, Moonee Valley City and Surf Coast Shire Councils.

Mick now works as a company director and consultant running his own business specialising in leadership, financial stewardship and collaborative change management processes.  He is a director or independent member of a range of company Boards, audit and strategic committees.

Mick will oversee the following functions until the appointment of a permanent Director:

• Commercial Services 
• Financial Services
• Governance; and
• Information Services
