Who can use Bayside's Vacation Care program?
Children who live in the Bayside municipality will hold a first priority to access care.
Children must be aged between 5-12 years of age and must be currently enrolled or attending primary school or the equivalent.
Bayside staff can help you with any queries regarding the inclusion of children with additional needs and children from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
When is Bayside Vacation Care program open?
Bayside Vacation Care offers care from 8am-6pm Monday to Friday during the term 1, 2, 3 and 4 school holidays.
During the summer term, the program is offered for up to three weeks (excluding public holidays).
How much does it cost?
The cost of the program is calculated on a daily basis, there are no half day or hourly rates available.
Incursions and excursions attract an additional fee. For current fee amounts please contact the Vacation Care Team Leader on (03) 9599 4444.
All families who are Australian residents may apply for fee assistance through the Child Care Benefit scheme.
How do I enrol?
You can register your interest with the Vacation Care Team Leader and you will receive a copy of the program prior to the holidays.
- Decide which days you would like to enrol your child.
- Contact 9599 4444 on the day enrolments begin (this date will be given in the letter accompanying the program).
- Organise payment and complete the registration form before the closing date.
